Requirements

To construct a new website alongside design consultancy - Hampton Associates, for award winning Scottish designer - Johanna Basford.

The new website needed to highlight Johanna's outstanding design work and commissions, as well as offering downloadable material for the press and a full archive of her press coverage. A blog was also required to keep visitors informed on the latest news and events.

Solution

Designed by Claire at Hampton Associates, the website's clean and well spaced areas maximise the content and draw the user's attention primarily to Johanna's designs.

Built to the latest web standards and powered by PHP and a MySQL database, the website is packed full of features. Built with search engines in mind, the website can be easily indexed and every page is optimised for its content.

The development of this website coincided with a number of updates to our content management system and is the first site to be running version 1.3. The new admin system gives even greater control of the website contents and includes features such as CMS, file uploads, multiple mailing lists and newsletter, blog, image galleries, product management and web statistics.
